BABYLON THE GREAT (Part 7)
Why do the kings of the earth and the merchants are mourning the fall of Babylon the Great?
“And the kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality with her and lived with her in shameless luxury will weep and beat themselves in grief over her when they see the smoke from her burning. (…) Also, the merchants of the earth are weeping and mourning over her, because there is no one to buy their full cargo anymore” (Revelation 18:9,11)
Like Jezebel, the queen who influenced the undecided king Ahab, Babylon the Great was the one who influenced, in a spiritual sense, the kings of the earth (1 Kings 21:4–16 “the murder of Naboth by the plot of Jezebel, to steal his vineyard and give it to her husband, king Ahab “). By means of Babylon the Great, patriotic religious spirituality (nationalist patriotic), the kings of the earth managed to unite peoples and kingdoms, but also to despoil them in the name of religion and their policy of personal enrichment. Through religious and political ceremonies, the merchants got rich. During the XXth century, after the first, second world war and the Cold War, rivers of human blood flowed, due to the political and religious ideologies, the spirituality of Babylon the Great. So they were widely discredited in the eyes of the world population. The bloodthirsty spirituality of Babylon the Great has spilled the blood of the holy ones: “And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus” (Revelation 17:6). The waters of the “Euphrates River”, the natural defense of Babylon the Great, have “dried up”, that is, the support of the nations for it has suddenly disappeared (Revelation 16:12 : “The sixth one poured out his bowl on the great river Eu·phraʹtes, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the rising of the sun”: This is a historical allusion to the strategic way that King Cyrus the Persian, has conquered the former Babylon, in 539 BCE, prophesied in Isaiah 44:27,28 to 45:1–7, drying up the waters around Babylon; compare with Revelation 17:1 “Sits on many waters”).
Since the beginning of 1991, the kings of the earth no longer manage to unite their kingdoms around these politico-religious ideologies, the spirituality of Babylon the Great. According to Daniel’s prophecy, iron (government authority) and clay (the people), can be no longer agree: “Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people; but they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay” (Daniel 2:43). The kings of the earth, are mourning the fall of Babylon the Great, because they cannot control the people by the religious and nationalist patriotic spirituality of Babylon the Great, they no longer manage to enrich themselves by its means. Obviously, the fall of Babylon the Great had economic and commercial repercussions, because the people no longer participate as much as before, in religious and political ceremonies and festivals, which represents a great loss for traders, the merchants of the temple (THE END OF PATRIOTISM).

This worldwide declaration took place on March 6, 1991, by the speech on the “New World Order”. It seems to be the beginning of the time corresponding to the description of Christ, in Matthew 24:29.
The Fulfillment of the Prophecy of Ezekiel, Gog of Magog
The coalition of nations currently attacking the people of God comes from the territorial areas corresponding to “Japheth”, Russia, China some Asian countries, as well as “Cham”, corresponding to some African countries where Christians suffer from severe persecution.
The Prophecy of Daniel of the Two Kings
The Study of the Prophecy of Daniel chapters 11 and 12, about the outcome of the conflict between the king of the north and the king of the south, provides a better understanding of the dramatic events that are currently taking place in the Middle East.
It is at the same time a “political” and a “religious” worldwide kingdom, because it symbolizes the human sovereignty which challenged the sovereignty of God on earth.
It is the “end” and the definitive destruction of the present system of things, according to Matthew 24:21 and Daniel 12:1.
According to the prophecy of Zechariah 14, that the great tribulation will last only one day, in Ethanim, 10 (Tishri) (Jewish Biblical Calendar (September/October)) (Revelation 11:19).
The great tribulation will also be the beginning of a planetary jubilee, Ethanim, 10 (Tishri).
According to the Prophecy of Daniel 8:23–25, there is the description of the last king (his face and behavior), in the time just before the Great Tribulation.
The prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and 39 is the description of what will happen soon after the great tribulation.
