The miracles made by Jesus Christ were “recreations”

“This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ” (John 17:3)

The healings made by Jesus Christ and the apostles were “recreations”

The diseases and disabilities, whether viral, bacterial or connected to accidents of life, can leave irreversible consequences on the human body: a dry hand, probably a hereditary or genetic deformation (Luke 6:6–11), blindness, by accident or by heredity (Matthew 9:27–31; Luke 18:35–42), deafness and impairment of the motor skills of speech (Mark 7:31–37), leprosy , a disease caused by a bacillus (Mycobacterium leprae) that causes damage to the peripheral nervous system, skin and various parts of the body (Mark 1:40–42; Luke 17:11–19). All of these miraculous healings, and many more (John 21:25), required even partial “re-creation” of the part of the human body affected by the disease or its physical after-effects.

The resurrection of Lazarus, the friend of Jesus Christ, was particularly spectacular and required a significant partial recreation of his body for it, to come back to life (John 11:30–44). It is written that Lazarus had been dead for four days. When Jesus Christ asked for the tomb to be opened, Martha, the deceased’s sister, objected: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days”, which shows that Lazarus’ body was beginning to decompose. The resurrection of Lazarus was a partial recreation of his human body (palingénesia (in Greek) (Matthew 19:28)). It is therefore evident that these miraculous healings by “re-creation”, in our days, do not exist in Christian congregations.
